Other Important Entrance Exams

CTET

Central Teacher Eligibility Test is one of the entrance exams which is conducted by the Central Board Secondary Education (CBSE) for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class I to Class VIII. CTET is going to be conducted twice a year for teaching positions from class 1 to 8 in central government schools such as Kendriya Vidyalaya, Central Tibetan Schools and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya besides schools under the administrative control of the Union Territories.

• JEST
 Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) is a national-level entrance examination conducted for admission to a PhD/Integrated PhD programme in Physics or Theoretical Computer Science or Neuroscience or Computational Biology in one of the participating institutes. The statutory body established through an Act of Parliament, Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB) recognises the JEST as a National Eligibility Test (NET).  Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) is a pen and paper-based test and conducted in a single session. The official website has released the sample paper for Physics, which is divided into three parts. The distribution of questions will be 15, 10 and 25 for Part A, B and C, respectively. The maximum number of marks is 100. 

• AIIMS

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi conducts AIIMS MBBS, DM/M.Ch, Fellowship Programme, MD/MS/M.Ch (6 Year), B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing, SR/SD, PhD etc. exams for admissions to these courses. Through this entrance exam, students are eligible for the admissions to the these courses.

 • NATA

 National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is an entrance examination conducted by Council of Architecture (CoA). NATA is a national level entrance examination for admission to undergraduate courses in Architecture. It is believed that a separate aptitude test should be conducted for admission to Architecture which should not be combined with the tests for admissions to Engineering, Pharmacy, Medicine and other disciplines.  The purpose of this entrance exam is to provide a single scheme of examination for holding aptitude test and to facilitate prospective students all over the country to apply for admissions in architecture seats in institutions spread across the country and to avoid appearing in multiple aptitude tests. NATA also ensures that the eligibility criteria for admission to five years Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree course
