Joint Entrance Examination(JEE)

Joint Entrance Examination- The joint entrance examination is conducted for the admission in various engineering colleges of India. The exam is conducted in two phase i.e JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The candidates can only appear in JEE advanced after they qualify the JEE Main.  The pattern for the exam is objective questions with negative marking. This exam is recognized as one of the toughest exams for under graduate courses in the world. 

Eligibility criteria for appearance in exam is  10+2  in PCM stream with  75% and above. The exam is generally conducted in the month of May. After clearing JEE mains and advance, one can choose the IIT or NIT as per rank and score in the exam. The top IITs, every candidate wishes to get into are IIT Delhi, IIT Mumbai, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur.
